Finally we're on our way!

Thanks Art, Shirley & Dave. The rv spots were great and it was fun golfing and drinking with you... take care..
Left Wenatchee at 7:00 am 10/15 , plan to stop at the VA in Yakima for a physical, then on to (as far south as we can get)..Started in Ellensburg with a full tank so we'll see how far we get..tail pipe broke pulling the Pendelton grade (no place to pull out & fix) so I continued up the hill to the reststop.. Unfortunatly we encountered quite a bit of exhaust inside the motorhome, opened windows and let it air out, made the repairs in a torrential downpour (naturally) and continued on our way. Pulled off the highway in the dark near Lime. Started out the next day 10/16 at 5:00 am and took on fuel 54.78 gal @ $3.28 p/gal ($179.61) at Boise. Hate to bore you with the details but this blog is for my own refernce also. 12 noon left Boise and made it to Brigham City, Utah, Golden Spike RV Park $32 p/nt. (too much but too tired to look around). Left the next morning at 8:00 am for St George. Stopped in Nehpi for fuel 45.79 gal @3.28 p/gal ($149.68). Left nephi at 11:00 am and made St George by 6:30. Found the Temple View RV Resort, 975 S Main and stayed in the overflow lot the first night as they were full. National Seniors horseshoe tornament. I promise...no more cost analysis... just wanted to get a handle on travel expenses 1 time. So from Wenatchee to St George the fuel was about $500 and we had a $32 overnight stay. Much better than I expected.. Now we're ready to have some fun..
